Using batch actions to perform bulk updates in the Bookings module

It's sometimes the case that a User wants to 'bulk change' a selection of records or even all records. Batch actions is a feature that enables Users to do just that. Each module in ChurchSuite has its own 'batch action' functionality, with more batch actions planned for the future.

Bookings

Within the Bookings section of the Bookings module, selecting one or more bookings will reveal the batch Actions menu, allowing a User to perform batch actions on the selected bookings.

Batch actions include: Delete

Customers

Within the Customers section of the Bookings module, selecting one or more customers will reveal the batch Actions menu, allowing a User to perform batch actions on the selected customers.

Batch actions include: Send email, Send SMS, Download CSV, Add to flow, Edit and Delete

Note: The Edit batch action is only surfaced if customer custom fields have been added to the module.

Selecting Edit provides options to perform batch edit actions for the selected customer's custom fields. Ticking a checkbox for an item will expand the edit options available for that item. Users must confirm before clicking theSave button to process the batch update.

Bookings notes report

Within the Bookings module's Reports section the Bookings Notes report includes batch Actions for deleting booking notes.

Customers notes report

Within the Bookings module's Reports section the Customer Notes report includes batch Actions for deleting customer notes.
