User training
Resourcing staff members and volunteers with effective training is vital for ensuring they can do everything you ask them to do as part of their role. Integrated within ChurchSuite is a video-based training tool called My Training, which is accessible to all browser Users and gives in-platform access to a comprehensive library of short training videos covering all areas of the system.
My training is accessed from the User menu. The videos have been categorised and ordered to give each user a guided training experience through the features and functionality available based on their permitted modules and the modules installed on your ChurchSuite account.
The system maintains a record of watched and unwatched videos for each user, with the Overview showing 'Up next' suggestions and their Progress through the unwatched videos currently available. Clicking on a category of interest shows the full list of videos and encourages users to watch each video to complete their training. Clicking the Unwatched counter for a category opens a filtered list of unwatched videos.
From the Videos tab, users can Search or filter videos of interest by Category (shown in Grid or List view) and watched videos can be shown or hidden.
Clicking on a video of interest opens the video in a pop-up. From here, the video can be watched or Marked as watched (or click Reset progress to mark a watched video as unwatched). A brief video description is shown with links to related Support articles.
As you watch videos, you're rewarded with badges to mark your progress. Your badges are only visible to you.
Administrator overview
Administrators have additional training insights intended to help inform training conversations with users. In your Account Settings, accessed via the User menu, Administrators can see an overview of Training Progress for all users. Training Progress is an optional column that can be shown or hidden.
Navigating into a user's Profile, the Training tab shows a more detailed overview of Progress. Clicking on a training Category shows Watched and Unwatched videos.
